About Us

about usIn our quest to be Christ-honoring and Christ-centered in all that we do for the Lord, we realize the importance of maintaining a true distinction between, what really comes down to two simple, but profound ways in life: man’s way and God’s way!

Proverbs 14:12 says, “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” This way is man’s way.

In John 14:6, Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life, no man cometh unto the Father but by me.” This is God’s way which makes it the Bible-way! We are a fundamental, independent, pre-tribulation, pre-millennial, and missions supporting Baptist Church, that operates solely on the premise that God’s Word, the Holy Bible, is verbally inspired, infallible and inerrantly preserved, by God, and IS TO BE our final authority in faith and in practice.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 states that, “ All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.”  Listed below are some, but not all, of the tenets we firmly adhere to, that will explain, to you, a little about who we are and what we believe, according to the Scriptures.

  • The Holy Scriptures

We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testament to be the verbally and plenary inspired Word of God. The Scriptures are inerrant, infallible, God-breathed, and therefore are the final authority for faith and life; having God for its Author, salvation for its end, and truth without any mixture of error for its matter. It reveals the principles by which God will judge us and therefore is, and shall remain to the end of the world, the true center of Christian union and the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds and opinions should be tried.

The sixty-six books of the Old and New Testament are the complete and divine revelation of God to man. We interpret the Scriptures according to their normal grammatical-historical meaning. We accept and use ONLY the Authorized 1611 King James Bible in every aspect of our worship and our ministries.

  • The Trinity

We believe, according to the Scriptures, that there is one, and only one, living and true God, the Creator and supreme Ruler of heaven and earth. He is inexpressibly glorious in holiness and worthy of all possible honor, confidence and love. In the unity of the Godhead, there are three persons- God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit- equal in every divine perfection and executing distinct, but harmonious offices in the great work of redemption.

  • The Fall of Man

We believe, according to the Scriptures, that man was created in true holiness and innocence under the Law of God, his Creator, but by voluntary transgression, fell from the holy and happy state, in consequence of which all mankind are now sinners, not by constraint, but by choice, being by nature, utterly void of that holiness required by the Law of God. Man is therefore, under the control of a fallen nature, inclined to evil, and therefore, is under just condemnation to eternal ruin, without defense or excuse.

  • The Way of Salvation

We believe, according to the Scriptures, that the salvation of sinners is wholly of grace through the mediatorial offices of Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, Who, by the appointment of the Father, freely took upon Himself our nature, being conceived by the Holy Spirit and was born of the Virgin Mary, yet without sin. He honored the Divine Law by His personal obedient and sinless life, and by His death, made a full atonement, through the shedding of His blood, for our sins.

After being buried, He arose from the dead three days later, ascended to and is now enthroned in Heaven, at the right hand of God, performing the wonderful service of reconciliation, by interceding, with tender sympathy, for all who call upon Him. Jesus Christ is, in every way, qualified to be a suitable, compassionate and all-sufficient Savior, and is the only way, for man, to be saved from the wrath to come.

We believe that the gift of salvation is made available to ALL (“whosoever”) by the Gospel of Jesus Christ and that it is the immediate duty of all to accept and receive it by a cordial, penitent and obedient faith. There is nothing that prevents the salvation of the greatest sinner on earth, but his own inherent depravity and voluntary rejection of the Gospel, of which rejection involves him in total condemnation, consummating in eternal damnation within the lake of fire.

We believe that, in order to be saved, one must be regenerated (born again), which consists in giving a holy disposition to the mind, effected in a manner above our comprehension by the power of the Holy Spirit, in connection with divine truth, the Holy Scriptures, so as to secure our voluntary obedience, from the heart, to the Gospel.

We believe that repentance and faith are sacred duties, and also inseparable graces, wrought in our souls by the regenerating power of the Spirit of God, whereby, being convinced of our guilt, danger, helplessness, and of salvation by Christ alone, we turn to God with unfeigned contrition, confession and supplication for mercy, while at the same time, we heartily receive the Lord Jesus Christ as our Prophet, Priest and King, relying on Him as the only all-sufficient Savior.

We believe that the proper evidence of regeneration appears in the holy fruits of repentance, faith and newness of life.
